All submissions must comply with the following terms to be accepted. Upon review by our professional editing team, your listing may change slightly without notice so that it better conforms to these terms and is presented in the best possible way for our visitors' experience.
General Guidelines
- Submit to the most relevant category for your business.
- Capitalize the first letter of every word in your title only. All other text should be in proper case.
- Opt for your salon name as the title. Please do not use promotional wording in your title.
- Please refrain from placing ads or promotions in your description.
- No superlatives like cheapest, best, finest, great, most, highest, number one, etc will be accepted in your description.
- Listing a website is optional but please list your website if you have and if it meets the following requirements:
- No Free domain web sites such as geocites, angelfire, myspace etc. or sites that use redirects to another URL.
- Submit your root page or "home page" only - no deep links.
- Websites submitted must be fully developed - Websites "Under Construction" will be rejected.
- No adult websites, gambling websites or websites with illegal content including spyware, pirated software, MP3's, movies etc.
- No sites with a collection of affiliate links or Adsense scraper sites - Submitting these sites will result in immediate rejection.
- By submitting to Find-Salons.com, you agree to allow us to contact you about your listing approval, rejection, renewal status or news from Find-Salons.com.
Salon, Spa and Beauty Salon Submission Guidelines
- If submitting to the tanning salon section, you must generate 50% or more total revenue from tanning equipment.
- If you have a 50% 50% split between 2 services, e.g. Spa & tanning, you may submit to more than one category.
- If you have more than one location, you may submit all your locations in the appropriate city.
- Businesses must be open for business or actively being constructed - salons in the 'planning stage' will not be accepted.
- You are encouraged to include specific features in your description sucha as the types and/or brands or products, tanning beds, etc. along with hours of operation - No prices, specials or promotions or please.
Resource Submission Guidelines
- Resource submissions must have experience with, or specialize in working with salon businesses.
